In an exciting new collaboration, EV Resource and Drivyn Performance proudly announce the addition of a High Performance Driving Instruction program for the 2023 Electric Vehicle Festival. This distinctive initiative is designed for electric vehicle enthusiasts eager to unlock and experience the full potential of their vehicles in a safe and structured setting.
Participants can expect: Expert Guidance: Learning from seasoned instructors with deep expertise in high-performance driving. Comprehensive Instruction: Four 20-30 minute classroom sessions designed to equip drivers with essential vehicle and driving instruction. Guided Track Sessions w Driver Debrief: Four 30 minute sessions on the 2.0mi. Dominion Raceway road course, translating classroom lessons into real-world practice. Lead-and-Follow Experience: Drivers will be guided on-track by an instructor in a lead vehicle and apply their knowledge of optimal driving lines, braking zones, and acceleration points. The High Performance Driving Instruction is designed as a beginner-level driving experience to introduce you to basic high-performance concepts and techniques. It includes a driver's meeting, classroom instruction by a professional driving coach, and multiple on-track-paced-lap sessions in your vehicle. Vehicles of all types and performance capabilities are welcome... as long as they've got a plug! Limited to only 20 participants! $299 covers the entire experience. Parking, General Admission, and an all-day track pass are included!

Do I need a helmet?
Yes, helmets are required for all road course activities during the Electric Vehicle Festival. It is recommended that you bring your own helmet as supplies are limited.
Can I have passengers ride with me?
Due to a focus on minimizing distractions and allowing drivers to focus entirely on the experience, passengers are not allowed to ride with participants during this activity.
Is passing allowed?
For safety reasons, passing is not allowed during the Electric Vehicle Festival. All track activity is a Lead-Follow format.
Do I need a fast car?
Vehicles of all types and performance capabilities are welcome... as long as they've got a plug!
