Melissa is an accomplished executive and is the former Mrs Richmond 2019. She graduated as valedictorian of the Richmond School for Urban Ministry, obtaining a BS in Christian Education, and used this to advance her ministry for at risk youth and work with teenage girls in the area of purity and confidence. She was a youth minister for 5 years, and has worked in youth ministry her whole life. She is a recording artist and the lead singer of Zechariah’s Song, where she sang and spoke over 100 times a year for many years and hosted a radio show.
